"Opera McGill last night made the best possible case for The Rake's Progress. (...) However bloodless Stravinsky's neoclassical score can sound, it does not want for momentum. Conductor Alexis Hauser kept everything moving nicely in the auction scene and gave the sentimental music all its mock-lyrical due.
